My Review Of The Best Computer Speakers

By Ryland Gauthier

The right personal computer sound system may be found with a little effort. A few computer speaker systems are overpriced and a few have poor sound when you turn up the power. I have listened to a great deal of 2.1 systems which clam to be the very best personal computer sound system within their price range. For now, the one I prefer in the one hundred fifty dollar cost range are the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified. They come with an awesome 200-watt digital amplifier. This system works with computes, gaming systems and the majority of compact music devices.

If you have been around computers you know the quality of the Logitech brand. Logitech has a number of options to pick from with speakers which offer a high quality sound. Their speakers are powerful and are a great addition to any computer. In this article I will cover a few of the Logitech systems that I like.

One system I do not recommend is the Logitech S220. They have positive reviews on Amazon although I don't endorse them. To me they seem kind of lame once the volume is turned up. They sound very good as long as the volume is not turned up too high. What good is a set of speakers you can not crank then?

2.1 speaker tend to be the most popular speaker systems attached to PCs. One reason for this is once a person has spent their money on a computer they may not want to spend even more on the best computer speakers they can buy. They may just want something that sounds great enough. Lets take a look at a 5.1 system that is more than you may want to spend but really has some kick. Then we can look at some less expensive, great sounding 5.1 systems.

Logitech has produced outstanding devices to help computers operate better. I think the best computer speakers in the Logitech label are the Logitech Z-5500 THX-Certified 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker System. This set will definitely make your home PC have some kick to it with 5 speakers and a base at 505 Watts of total power. You can hook this up to your computer, DVD player, TV, MP3 player, or gaming system and it will sound great. The Z-5500 will not distort when you turn it up. This system has a very high volume level and bass control. The high-clarity THX-certified sound stays clear when you turn on the power.

If you'd prefer Logitech pc products and need a 5.1 system you should check out the Logitech X-540. It's a step lower from the 5500 however they are still excellent Computer speakers. The cost is definitely right and the set up is simple, appropriate if you just want to begin modest and affordable the X-530 may be the ideal computer audio system for you. Great sound for such a small system.

If you are searching for the very best computer audio system at close to fifty dollars I suggest the Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 2.1 system. The only cheap thing about this set is the price. I don't think there is better sound in this price range. They do not sound like a set of Klipsch ProMedia when you crank them however I believe they are the best pc audio system around the fifty dollar price range. If you are looking for a place to put your MP3 player and do not want to spend a lot of money then this is the system for you because it comes with a MP3 cradle.
