Cell Phone Features That Suit Your Lifestyle

By Randall Cox

The different cell phone features that have been cropping up has made purchasing this product no different from buying a computer. And, more times than not, one of our specifications would be a phone that is compatible to our own PC so we can make downloads.

For those yuppie people who are into gadget innovations, it has become quite exciting to look forward to whatever new applications cell phone companies will come up with on a yearly basis. On the other hand, there are some people who don't even pay attention to the additional features that have been added on the phone. This may be because their work doesn't really necessitate all the additional applications on the phones and they already have other gadgets that serve the same function.

A typical mobile phone that has recently come out of the market usually has the following capabilities: video streaming, send text messages, take photographs and access voicemail. But if you're looking for more than the typical features, then there's a lot more in store for you.

Bluetooth capability is one of the advantages of the more sophisticated mobile phones, so are functioning as a palmtop computer and file download capabilities. If you're not familiar with the word, Bluetooth means wireless technology. For those not well-versed with the technology, it seem the very idea is already referring to mobile phones, but in cell phone lingo it actually refers to using your phone to converse on the line without holding the phone yourself. It's the small gadget some people attach to their ear so they can talk on their phone while driving. It lets you use the mobile device hands-free. Now if you see someone making big gestures with their hands while arguing with no one in particular then they're probably on their phone talking.

Some really advanced phones have video streaming capability, as well as capturing still photographs. Still, there are some phones you can use that lets you download and upload files to and from your phone by plugging it straight to your computer. This would come in really handy if you've got this terrific shot using your mobile phone and want to share it with your friends, you just have to upload it and then print it on photo paper or send it out through the internet. With the technology today, it's almost possible to share files between any phone, but unfortunately it hasn't reached the same stage with computers because there are phones that are not yet compatible with certain types of units and there are some still that requires a special software before you can do any downloading or uploading.

Don't be afraid to seek the advice of store personnel, they are more knowledgeable with the devices and would help you pick the phone with the features you want. It would be really cool if your phone has all the latest features, but you better be prepared because these features usually have their own price tags.
