It is fairly certain that the new P4 console will be able to support 3D technology. This is because Sony are due to release a 3D monitor for gaming, complete with glasses. It will be very interesting to see what other capabilities the new console with have.

This is because of the new cloud technology, where applications can run on a server instead of from a console or computer.
